Week six of the 2025 NFL season

Live coverage includes text commentary of Sunday's games via various channels, beginning with the Broncos-Jets clash at Tottenham (from 14:00 BST). Additionally, audio coverage is available on select stations covering a separate game (from 21:00 BST).

We're in the sixth week in the NFL season , after recent talk regarding the Buffalo Bills and Philadelphia Eagles as a potential Super Bowl match-up, they both surrendered their unbeaten records.

Striking in those games was the number of infractions both conceded. The Eagles committed them in key moments so they essentially defeated themselves after leading by two touchdowns going into the final quarter versus the Denver Broncos, who play in London this weekend.

But it proved good to see how Denver's QB the rookie managed to have the shortfall and then direct three successful possessions on three possessions in the fourth quarter, securing the game by four points.

The Broncos have the top defender in CB their star corner. They are number one in goal-line defense, whereas the Eagles are number one in red zone offence, yet Denver won that contest.

They executed effective strategies in terms of disguised blitzes. They weren't always rushing more than four defenders but they could plug two LBs in the 'A' gap before drop them out and send a nickel from the outside.

At the start of the season, we said during a show that the Broncos could be this season's surprise contenders. They ended the previous year strongly and excelled in continuing that momentum.

Could Denver be this year's dark horses?

New tight end Evan Engram has excelled significantly while new running back JK Dobbins is a player they believe in. He's currently 5th league-wide for rushing yards (over 400) as well as tied for fourth in rushing scores (4).

I love that the coach Sean Payton displays "RUSH!" prominently on his call sheet.

This demonstrates that Denver represent a squad that wants to prioritize the run, since one can do a lot off the back of that. It slows opposing rushes and keeps you in favourable situations.

This has benefited QB the young passer, who came into the league as a first-round selection last year, throwing 29 TDs – just behind Justin Herbert in rookie records (31 back in 2020).

Other elite QBs have powerful arms to throw all over, however they don't move the mobility that Nix has. He boasts exceptional passing ability, a unique trait, plus he's highly agile.

His strengths are his mobility, being able to pass while moving, as well as using varied release points to deliver the pass as he moves out of the pocket, on rollouts. He is able to deliver precision throws over the middle and past defenders.

For a young quarterback, at 25, he's got a lot of poise in the pocket and isn't bothered by the blitz. He aims to evade a sack as much as possible and can throw under pressure. He possesses sharp intelligence and remains very decisive.

When you consistently rush it consumes the clock and forces the defence to be in play extended periods, and if you have an athletic quarterback the defence must defend the area downfield and horizontally. It can be exhausting.

The quarterback has pushed back at Payton during games sometimes and it seems the coach appreciates that fire, that he's a fierce rival. I think it's exciting for the coach to have a young quarterback who's kind of like play-dough. He can really develop him the way he desires to shape him. I believe it's a unique opportunity for him.

Payton owns a championship and now passed a legend in all-time victories (173 - tied 14th overall). He's seen it all. I think the achievements the Broncos are experiencing on offence is mostly down to his guidance, his play-calling, his situational awareness – and the combination with the QB aids shape him into who he is.

There's no better a better guy guiding you, to assist you during some of the tougher situations and boost confidence.

I have faith in the Broncos' defense, in Bo Nix's tenacity and composure. Yet are they good enough to go against a top squad at its best? Since that wasn't championship-level play by the Eagles last Sunday.

Currently, I don't think the Broncos are elite. They're performing better than most, that's a good place to hold the AFC West. The key to do to continue this trajectory.

They excel at leaning into their strength, that is the ground game, and this is exactly what they must do against the Jets at Tottenham. It will likely be the JK Dobbins show, in essence.

The Jets have surrendered 140 yards on the ground per game (sixth worst), five rushing touchdowns this season (in the bottom ten), and they are the only team yet to win any game.

Ever since the NFL started recording turnovers in 1933, the Jets are also the first team to go without any turnovers through five games, this is surprising when you think that their new coach was previously a defensive coach with another team.

Patrick Mahomes stated Kansas City are off to a poor start following Monday's defeat to Jacksonville.

After this Sunday's game, the Broncos have a smooth-ish schedule up to their bye (in week 12) - the Giants, Dallas Cowboys, Houston Texans and Las Vegas Raiders prior to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Looking at their division, Kansas City hold a losing record and the Broncos are even with the Chargers at 3-2 meaning they could challenge at leading the division.

It depends upon which form of the Chiefs they face since Denver {beat|def
