A ex-military leader of the the nation's space operations center will provide findings next month on how the publicly-supported center can best support the scope of official artificial intelligence goals in defense, homeland protection and intelligence.
Organizational Refocusing
The center's head, a previous Amazon UK leader, confirmed that 78 different research projects at the center employing hundreds have been closed, spun out or completed because they fail to match with the fresh focus.

The center has faced internal strife since last year as employees objected against reforms, culminating in a team of staff members filing a whistleblower complaint to the relevant regulatory body.
