The House investigative committee has made public a collection of roughly 70 images secured from the holdings of late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

This marks the third disclosure from a larger collection of more than 95,000 photos the panel has obtained from Epstein's property. It contains pictures of quotes from the novel Lolita written across a woman's body, and censored pictures of female international passports.

This action occurs just hours before the December 19th due date for the Justice Department to disclose each records associated with its probe into Epstein.

"These new images pose more queries about what exactly the DOJ has in its possession," remarked the senior Democrat of the committee, Robert Garcia.

What is in the Photographs Disclosed

Several of the images published on Thursday show Epstein speaking with scholar and advocate Noam Chomsky aboard a private jet; Bill Gates standing alongside a individual whose features is censored; Steve Bannon positioned at a workstation facing Epstein, and former Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a evening meal.

These are the newest wealthy, powerful individuals to be seen in Epstein property photos released by the committee - earlier released photos also depict US President Donald Trump and past president Bill Clinton, as well as film director Woody Allen, ex- US Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, lawyer Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and others.

Appearing in the images is not evidence of any wrongdoing, and many of the pictured figures have said they were not implicated in Epstein's illegal activity.

In a press release released with the photograph publication, Democratic members on the US House Oversight Committee said the Epstein property holders did not supply background information or dates for the images.

"Images were picked to offer the general populace with openness into a illustrative selection of the images acquired from the holdings, and to offer insights into Epstein's circle and his exceptionally disturbing actions," the release reads.

The disclosure also includes several photographs of quotes from the Vladimir Nabokov book Lolita written in black ink across various areas of a female's body, including her upper body, feet, pelvis, and spine. Lolita narrates the account of a adolescent who was manipulated by a adult literature professor.

A particular quote from the novel inscribed across a female's torso reads, "Lo-lee-ta: the tip of the tongue making a journey of three steps down the mouth to alight, at three, on the teeth".

The release also contains a collection of images of female passports and official papers from countries worldwide, like Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

Most of the data on the papers, like identities and birth dates, is censored but the panel indicated in a announcement that the travel documents belong to "females whom Jeffrey Epstein and his co-conspirators were involved with".

An additional image features Epstein sitting at a workstation in close proximity flanked by three female figures whose identities have been censored - one has her hand on Epstein's chest under his garment, and a second is bending to look at a close-by computer. Epstein appears to be assisting the third put on a bracelet.

A further photo disclosed is a screenshot of SMS messages from an unnamed individual who states they have been supplied "several females" and are asking for "$$1,000 per girl".

Photograph Publication Arrives Ahead of DOJ Due Date

The committee has thousands of photos in its custody from the Epstein estate, which are "at once explicit and mundane," its announcement on this week explained.

The House Oversight Committee first subpoenaed the estate of Epstein, who passed away in a New York prison in 2019 while awaiting trial on accusations of sex trafficking, in August.

The images and records the Epstein estate provided to the committee are distinct from what is often termed "the Epstein files". Those files are records under the justice department's custody connected to its separate investigation into Epstein.

Pursuant to the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which President Trump enacted recently, the DOJ has until 19 December to release its documents. The full nature of what's contained in the DOJ's records is unknown, and it's expected that much of the content will be extensively redacted, comparable to House Oversight Committee materials
