Loyal fans of Ariana Grande are calling for that a man who jumped a fence and touched the celebrity during yesterday's Wicked: For Good debut be taken into custody or expelled from Singapore.

A widely shared footage depicts the Australian man bypassing media personnel and rushing toward Grande while the performers made its way down a promenade accompanied by fans.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo promptly guided the surprised actress away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being escorted out of the premiere by guards.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram recently that he was "released after being arrested", though legal records showed that he was scheduled to attend court on the following morning. It is unknown if he was faced legal action.

Pattern of Event Invasions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Notorious Troublemaker", has invaded a celebrity gathering. His Instagram profile features recordings of him interrupting other high-profile occasions, including rushing the platform at the pop singer's Sydney performance in earlier this year and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers event in the area last year.

"Steps should be implemented taken against him as this is obviously a punishable act," commented an Instagram commenter, in a message to a video Mr Wen posted of his behavior.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" another Instagram user questioned.

Fans Show Disapproval Over Grande's Well-being

Several followers blamed Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had spoken of suffering from PTSD after a devastating incident at the end of her 2017 performance in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and wounding numerous individuals.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" commented a further response on Instagram.

A number of supporters also questioned event staff at the gathering for not being sufficiently alert; while some called for online networks to block Mr Wen's content.

Response and Event Details

In footage shared widely, Grande looked shocked when she was grabbed by the intruder. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed reassuring her while Mr Wen was escorted away by security.

Grande has not commented on the event, and the rest of the event carried on uninterrupted.

Numerous of Singapore attendees had waited to see the cast of Wicked

Hundreds of supporters had gathered in a sea of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good international debut in a Singapore venue, including some who had waited for as long as a significant duration before it started.

The motion picture, to be launched on the 21st of November, is the follow-up of a two-film interpretation of the acclaimed stage musical Wicked, which revolves around the unexpected friendship between two very different characters.

The musical itself is a spin-off of the 1900 story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the good witch Glinda, was dressed in a rosé glittering gown at the event while Erivo, who acts as the villainous character, wore a sleek black dress embroidered with roses.

They were joined by cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the top-earning movie of the previous year in the UK, and earned ten award recognitions, securing a pair for excellent wardrobe and production design.
